Greetings beloved friends and associates! It’s been a minute since we posted on here but rest assured we have been crazy busy over here since the last post. Anyhow, the website is beginning to take shape and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. We’ve got a ton of news to share, things we’ve been up to, people we’ve met and recent events we’ve attended and more coming your way. So without further delay, here’s a brief synopsis of what we’ve been up to, enjoy.
October… Where to start with October? Well, October was a very special month for us and we were beyond thrilled to host our “Feed the People” event at The Lodge on October 27th. A benefit for Family of Woodstock Inc., the inception of “Feed the People” resulted in us proudly presenting a $500 gift card from Hannaford Supermarkets prior even to the actual event! In lieu of a cover charge, we asked that attendees donate a bag of non-perishable food items for Family. We’d like to take this opportunity to give a heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you that donated or came out for a good cause. Together we can make a difference in the lives of our fellow human beings. #ReggaeTeamwork
The night started off with Aric Grooms and a Very Good Comedy Show and the laughs were unstoppable! At the conclusion of the comedy portion of our event we were joined by surprise guest, Patrick Carlin, brother of George Carlin, who eagerly took the stage, wanting to do his part for the cause. Huge, massive thank yous to both of you kind souls Aric and Partick!
Next, Selecta Crown aka Julian Selector Crown Walker took over the turn tables and murdered it all night long. Huge shout out to you for coming all the way up, bless up and we’ll definitely be seeing more of you in the near future.
Finishing up our night straight out of Jamaica, we welcomed 15 year old Armani aka Moodie Ranx. Moodie took to the stage and it was ON! A performance that brought tears to the eyes of this writer, Woodstock was truly surprised and blown away that night. Moodie joined Jah Love Entertainment for our October 29th weekly Reggae Monday at The Lodge as well and continued to pour both heart and soul into each and every note that he blessed us with. Mad love to you brother!
Speaking of Reggae Mondays, we’re still at The Lodge each and every Monday night bumping the tunes and eating up all of the Jamaican food! But we’ll update that info on our very next post. Until then, bless up!
